If 2.5″ and 3.5″ IDE hard drives are connected simultaneously, you need to set jumper for 3.5″ IDE hard drive and set it to slave.

Warm Note:

For new HDD, please go to “Disk Management” to initialize it first, and then your HDD can be recognized.
For Mac OS, the format needs to be set to exFat. Please backup all your data before formatting your HDD.

Please note that for data transfer speed, it is largely determined by the performance of your HDD/SSD and computer. The mentioned maximum speed of 5Gbps is just for reference.
